- Acid rain is rain that is more acidic than it should be.
- Acid Rain is not only rain,but any form of precipitation(rain, fog,
snow, sleet, hail and any other forms of precipitation that I didn’t
think of)
- A better name for it is Acid Deposition

- The two elements responsible for Acid Rain are sulfur dioxide(SO*)and
nitrogen dioxide(NO*).SO* comes from factories,and NO* comes from
transportation.
- What we do to cause acid rain is driving cars and burning fossil fuels.SO
DON’T DO IT!!!!!!!!
- Acid Rain is a misleading term because ALL forms of precipitation are
slightly acidic.It becomes a problem when the precipitation is too
acidic.

- It affects buildings by wearing them down so other types of
disasters(wind,rain,ext.)are more likely to harm them.Acid Rain is
actually why the Statue of Liberty is Green!!!!!
- It affects people when they drink it.It can give you many things
including dry coughs,nose and throat irritations,liver problems,asthma
and more!!!!!
- It affects plants and trees by making them more weak to other disasters
(wind,rain,ext.),just like buildings.If their roots absorb Acid rain,it
can die.
