Band Bio

The Full Count Big Band, a division of the New Jersey Workshop for the Arts (NJWA), is an 18-piece big-band consisting of sax, trombone, trumpet and rhythm section.

Under the musical direction of Ken Fink, this dynamic band covers many styles of Jazz and can be seen and heard regularly in the NY/NJ/PA area at concerts, street fairs, festivals and private affairs.

Vocalist Bio

Aubrey Parasolle is the band’s featured vocalist. With her thick, low alto tone and heavy swing rhythm, Aubrey Parasolle’s voice emotes a quality akin to jazz singers who have been singing for decades. However, once one sees her edgy hair, petite stature, and hears her live, they know that this 24 year-old is not the average jazz performer.

Small Group Bio

The Full Count Big Band is also available as a 'small group' customized from as small as 3 up to 8 musicians in order to meet your needs and event budget. The Full Count Small Group was formed in order to cater to the needs of more intimate parties.

Our music has traveled many roads from swinging nostalgia to straight-ahead Jazz standards, from sultry Bossa Novas to toe-tapping Broadway numbers, appealing to audiences of all ages and suitable for all occasions.
