GIRLS ENJOY BLIZZARDS AND TOURS
Over 100 Girl Scouts from throughout GSWRC's 25-community jurisdiction took part in Girl Scout Appreciation Day at the Plainfield Dairy Queen.  Here is more information and some photos of the event, part of a national partnership between GSUSA and DQ.


CHECK IT OUT
After weeks of careful planning, the communications sub-committee of the CRC is pleased to unveil the interim webpage for the Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey www.gshnj.org .  Please remember this is an interim site but does have the same look and feel of the permanent site slated to launch on October 1.


BRACE FOR A BLIZZARD
During the month of July, six Dairy Queen locations within GSWRC's jurisdiction will offer Thin Mint Blizzards as part of a national promotion.  Here are more details as well as a flyer.

GET A GREEN THUMB
Members of Troop 477/2038 of GSWRC's Plainfield Community recently completed a year-long service project by putting the finishing touches on a vegetable garden.  The girls were joined by Plainfield's Mayor along with members of its beautification committee.  Here are more details and photos.


SPRINGFIELD TROOPS CROSS OVER
Four troops from GSWRC's Springfield Community took part in a Bridging Ceremony at Camp Letico in Roselle.  Here are more details as well as photos of the great day.

The Roselle Park Community of GSWR recently held a ceremony at Girl Scout Park to debut a new flag and sign.  Here are more details as well as some photos.


CEREMONIES GALORE
Three communities recently held year-end ceremonies paying tribute to their girl and adult members.  The Berkeley Heights, Linden and Roselle Park communities all took time out of their busy schedules to honor their girls and adult volunteers the week of June 9.


GARWOOD TROOP EARNS THEIR SILVER AWARD
Members of Garwood Troop 395 recently earned their Silver Awards at a ceremony held in late May.  Here are more details as well as a photo of the troop.


DUNELLEN/GREEN BROOK TROOP STAYS BUSY
Troop 876 of GSWRC's Dunellen/Green Brook Community enjoyed a busy, eventful and productive spring taking part in a number of events.  Here are more details as well as photos of the girls in action.


FRAZEE HOUSE PROGRAM HELD
On June 2 20 girls from throughout GSWRC's jurisdiction convened at the Cannonball House for Crazee Frazee Day.  The event was sponsored jointly by GSWRC, the Fanwood-Scotch Plains Rotary Club and the Scotch Plains Fanwood Historical Society.  Here are more details and some photos.


SPRINGFIELD SCOUTS LET LOOSE
Members of the active and vibrant Springfield Community of GSWRC recently took part in a Mom and Me as well as a High School Musical-themed event.  Here are more details and some photos.


FANWOOD/SCOTCH PLAINS STAGE HOLD CEREMONY
For the 23rd time, the Fanwood/Scotch Plains Community held its Silver and Gold Ceremony.  The event took place at the Fanwood Presbyterian Church on May 27.  Here are more details and photos.


WESTFIELD HOLDS
GOLD AND SILVER CEREMONY
The Westfield Community of GSWRC held its annual Gold and Silver Awards Ceremony on May 28 at the First Congregational Church.  Fifty young women proudly came forward to accept the fruits of their labor.  Here are more details as well as photos.
