ROSELLE PARK --  The Roselle Park Community of GSWRC held its Bridging and Awards Ceremony on June 10 at Roselle Park High School.  All 13 troops were present before an enthusiastic crowd totaling nearly 200 Girl Scouts, friends and family members.  Capably organized and run by Troop 70, the evening saw Troop 231 accept their Silver Award and Troop 582 come away with their Bronze Award. 

As is customary, the night featured many troops making the transition from one level to another.  Troop 611 crossed the bridge to Brownies, Troops 386 and 778 made the transition to Junior Girl Scouts, Troops 548 and 582 took off their junior vests in favor of Cadette gear and Troop 401 bridged to Seniors.  Longtime community Cookie Manager Beth Weslock came forward to accept her Appreciation Pin while her hard-working husband Michael Weslock was feted with a Community Award.  Here is a link to a photo gallery.
