BERKELEY HEIGHTS--Nearly 100 Girl Scouts, parents and supporters of the movement turned out on June 10 at Mountain Park School to brave the sweltering heat and take part in a year-end Awards Celebration.

The evening featured Silver Award presentations to Troops 182, 620 and 957.  Gold Award recipients Elena Rubino and Allison Walker were in attendance to provide the audience with full details of their Gold Award projects.  Mike Skara, an employee of the Berkeley Heights Board of Education was presented with a Community Award on the strength of his cooperation and work with Allison Walker's Gold Award project.  In addition to the aforementioned presentations, Berkeley Heights' large corps of adult volunteers were recognized for all they do to sustain and grow the movement.  Service Unit Manager Carmela Arale expressed her gratitude time after time to the group.  Here is a photo gallery.
