FANWOOD --  More than 75 people converged on Fanwood Presbyterian Church on May 27 for the 23rd renewal of the Fanwood/Scotch Plains' Community's Silver and Gold Awards Ceremony.  The night paid tribute to five Gold Award recipients as well as eight young ladies representing three troops who collected their Silver Award.  Gold Award recipients Kris Conlan, Erin Finan, Emily Katz, Barbara Slaugh and Christina Woods all took their turn at the podium to tell more about their impressive projects.  Leaders of Troops 310, 621 and 851 took to the microphone as well to tell of their troop's Silver Award projects.  As always, FSP Service Unit Manager Maura Berger capably planned and executed the event.  Among the local dignitaries who spoke were Fanwood Mayor Colleen M. Mahr, GSWRC CEO and Fanwood Councilwoman Donna M. Dolce and Dong Tanguy, a local resident who is employed by GSUSA.  Below are some photos of the festivities.
