Philosophy/Skills Stressed: Children's seeks to provide a comprehensive educational program for handicapped children from birth to 5 years old which includes medical, therapeutic and social services. Early Intervention Program, Special Education Pre-School and additional Child Care available. It is a private, hospital-affiliated program. The program contains all the elements of Early Childhood curriculums: readiness skills, socialization, gross motor activities and self-help skills. Each child is evaluated and given an individual education plan, which includes therapeutic goals. This plan is implemented by an interdisciplinary team and periodically updated. Parent support groups and educational programs are provided. The following clinics are also provided: orthopedic, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, stoma, eye, dental, genitourinary, pediatric neurology and otolaryngology.

Teacher/Student Ratio: 1 to 3 (school has 5 teachers and 10 aides)

Summer Programs: "Camporee" - 3 ½ to 6 years old; "Under the Umbrella" - 7-9 years old
