WE HAVE A SPOT FOR YOU! We need help and in return will provide you with a learning opportunity not to be missed. No experience is necessary! We have a variety of areas in which you can help.
MILLER-CORY GUIDES -
Don a costume and join our docents who interpret colonial life to museum
visitors. Training sessions take place periodically.
CRAFT DEMONSTRATIONS -
Skilled craftspeople are on hand to teach you the life-sustaining arts
of colonial times. You will then be ready to demonstrate for our Sunday visitors
or to join our Showcase program which goes to nearby schools.
MILLER-CORY COOKS -
Famous for their appearance in four nationally distributed magazines,
the Miller-Cory cooks continue to demonstrate the exacting art of food
preparation on the open hearth.
GROUNDS -
Do you enjoy gardening? We are always in need of volunteers to help
maintain our herb, dye and vegetable gardens. You can "adopt" a section of
a garden and be responsible for its care.
THE MUSEUM SHOP -
Would you be interested in working in our Museum Shop? Help is needed
on Sunday afternoons and on weekdays during school tours.
PUBLIC RELATIONS -
Do you enjoy writing? Plenty of opportunity here! Good publicity is
an important part of our successful programs.
Don't let your skills go to waste! Join the Miller-Cory Volunteers!!
