The Mothers'
Center
is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization founded in 1978 by mothers
to help other mothers of children of all ages. We offer support and discussion
groups, evening parent education workshops, social activities, playgroups,
library resources... and friendship!
MEMBERSHIPThe Mother's Center calendar runs from September thru August. Yearly dues are $50.00 for one year and are payable before groups begin in September.
New members are always welcome!
Members who join in the winter pay a pro-rated fee of $35.00, and members who join in the spring pay $25.00.
Membership dues include participation in groups, social activities, playgroups and book groups (unless a special fee is indicated.) and a group newsletter four times a year.
There is an additional charge for childcare during discussion groups.

Groups
Weekly groups run on different weekdays from 9:30 -11:00am
They change three times a year during each season. Some group topics include:
Mom and Baby Group, Second Time Around, Woman's Forum, Scrapbooking, Yoga, STEP(Systematic Training for Effective Parenting), A to Z, and Knitting.
Mom and Baby Group!
Moms with babies 0 to 12 months come together with their infants to join in discussions and offer support to each other. We welcome formula and breastfeeding. This group has open enrollment, you may begin at any session.
Playgroups, picnics, "Mom's Night Out," "Mom and Me" events, and other gatherings provide opportunities for mothers and children to make new friends.

We currently offer various playgroups throughout the year, both in the afternoon and in the morning. Moms stay in the childcare room and bond together while the children play together.
A newsletter is mailed to all Mothers' Center members 4 times each year. It includes information on all upcoming discussion groups, activities, and events. It also contains the membership, groups, and events registration forms.
