Events
The Newcomers Club offers social events for women, couples, and children. Monthly activities include women’s dinners, book club, events for couples and children, and community service. In addition, the Newcomers online message board provides valuable recommendations for doctors, dining, contractors and much more.
New Member Open Houses
Meet new members at our informal Open Houses. Wine and cheese events and brunches are held throughout the year.
Women’s Activities
Let’s get out and try something new! Movie nights, spa events, flower arranging and cooking classes are just a sample of the great things we do together. Events typically occur on weekday evenings.
Couples Activities
Clear your schedule or grab a babysitter and get out on a Saturday night. Couples events include cocktail parties, beer and wine tastings, barbecues, game nights, and family activities.
Women’s Dinners
It’s Ladies Night! Have you been dying to try that new restaurant in town? Check it out with the Newcomers. Join us for an evening of fine cuisine and fun companionship one weeknight a month.
Children’s Activities
Calling all moms! Join us at our monthly fun-filled activities created just for kids. You and your child will meet new friends while craft-making, cooking, or even visiting a zoo! Playgroups are also organized.
Book Club
Whether you’ve made notes in all the margins or only read the first 50 pages, join us for a relaxing night out with your Newcomer friends. Book club typically meets the last Monday of each month.
Community Service
Make a difference in your community by volunteering your time or donating items to a worthy cause. Create care packages for those in need, buy a toy for a disadvantaged child, or participate in a 5K run.
