Halloween Parade

This year the Halloween parade  and costume contest will be on Sunday October 26.

The parade is coordinated with the Downtown Westfield Corporation's annual Trick or Treat and costume contest.  Festivities begin with trick or treating - with downtown Westfield merchants providing the goodies.   The Costume Contest and entertainment starts at 2:00pm on Quimby Street followed by the parade at 2:15pm led by the Westfield High School marching band.  The winning ghouls and goblins will be awarded their prizes following the parade and final judging.

Children participating in the parade should arrive at Quimby Street by 2:00pm.  The 2:15pm parade starts on Quimby Street and proceeds along North Avenue, Prospect Street, East Broad Street, Elm Street, and returns to Quimby Street.  The costume contest is for children from pre-school through elementary school ages.  Young children should be accompanied by an adult.   All activities and the parade occur rain or shine.

The Westfield Halloween Parade is organized and sponsored by the Optimist Club of Westfield.  This annual parade and related activities continues a long-standing Optimist Club tradition of providing fun, entertaining, and safe Halloween family activities for the community.
