The Optimist Club is a not-for-profit service club composed of men and women who live and/or work in the Westfield New Jersey area. We conduct service projects that benefit youth and community. We were chartered as a chapter of Optimist International in 1989.

The Optimist club revived the Haunted House will in 2009. After many weeks of construction, decorating, and costume design,  1,701 children and adults had a wonderful, scary time on October 31.
