Membership

The Optimist Club of Westfield has membership of approximately 50 men and women from Westfield and surrounding communities.  Club members are encouraged to participate in a variety of community projects and social events as well as seeking their own level within the organization.  We encourage members to become involved in projects where they have an interest. We do not take attendance or track your participation in projects, programs or events. This has worked well for our Club as projects always have enough volunteers and our social events are well attended.  Our annual retention rate is between 90-95%.  Annual dues are $100, most of which goes to the National organization.  Monthly dinner meetings are held on the second Wednesday at Echo Lake Country Club and a monthly newsletter is published to keep members informed on the status of current programs and events.
