What is Westfield High School Television?

What the public perceives as channel 36 on their TV set is actually 2 distinct elements:

Westfield Community Television (or WCT) operates out of the Municipal Building on Broad Street in Westfield. WCT provides community related programming, coverage of town council meetings, and operates the WCT Bulletin Board. WCT is a local (not public) access channel. Phone 908-789-4040 X4094, FAX: 908-233-3077.

Westfield High School Television (or WHS TV) broadcasts 3 1/2 days a week
(see schedule) on Channel 36. WHS TV operates out of Rm. 135 at the high school and provides Westfield school-related programming including: Board of Education meetings, informative programs about the education of our children and the school district, high school sports and concerts, original student projects from Westfield High's TV Production classes, as well as other programs from the school district.

Channel 36 in Westfield broadcasts town related programming - serving a viewing public of roughly 70,000 citizens in Westfield, Fanwood, Scotch Plains and Mountainside.
