WCA is an advocate for the arts, including music, drama, visual arts, and dance, by speaking out on behalf of the arts, maintaining public awareness, and identifying sources of financial and philosophical support.

President’s Message

This past year has been a productive one for the Coalition. We have been busy identifying and supporting various fine arts programs throughout the Westfield Public Schools. In addition, we continue to provide scholarships to deserving high school seniors who demonstrate excellence in the arts. Both of these endeavors are detailed in this newsletter.

As I am sure you are aware, it takes money to finance these projects. Our main source of revenue comes from member donations. While the Coalition has experienced an increase in project requests this past year, it has also seen a decline in donations from our contributors (see Treasurer’s Report). We need your financial support to continue our work.

We are also looking for members who would like to contribute their time and creativity to the Coalition. We welcome your ideas and suggestions. Please feel free to e-mail me at crsny@comcast.net.
