Every club member joins one of the following working committees. Please readeach description and decide the committee for which you are best suited.Kindly indicate your choice on the membership questionnaire.
Membership
Assist with new member coffees (four times a year). You may be askedto make phone calls, address invitations or to bake something for the coffee,though you need not attend.
Reservations
The chairperson takes the entire membership list, divides it intogroups of eight to ten people, and distributes a list to each caller. Eachmonth the caller is responsible for calling those on her list two weeks priorto the monthly dinner to find out if the member is attending and her menuchoice. The caller reports back to the chairperson one week before the dinner.
Helping Hands
When a club member is faced with a major life event -- whether it's the arrival of a new baby
or a hardship in the family -- the Helping Hands committee is there to help. From home-cooked meals to transportation,
your fellow members are ready to lend their support.
