The Westfield Welcome Club

Activities for Women:

Book Discussion

Tired of just talking about husbands, children & jobs? Like to read something more stimulating than "Green Eggs & Ham" or TV Guide? If so, then our book discussion group may be for you. We meet monthly to review a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction books chosen by our members.

Community Service & Charity

Volunteer once a month at the Westfield Food Pantry stocking shelves and making up bags of food for families in need. Bring your kids if you like (they love to play grocery store!). Not a lot of time required for a wealth of good feelings! There are also several fundraisers each year such as garage sales, house tours and fashion shows to benefit local charities.

Great Escape

Leave your kids, husband, job or whatever else has you crazy and join us for a night of munchies and commiseration. This group meets every other month at a member's home or a local coffee house.

Helping Hands

This group helps members in times of need: births, deaths, illnesses or the like. We will run errands, cook meals, babysit children, whatever is needed.

Walking Group

Bring dogs, strollers, babies, kids or bikes for a morning stroll around the park. This group meets weekly at Tamaques Park.

Monthly Dinners

Escape each month to have dinner with other members for a "ladies' night out"at a local restaurant. These dinners are widely attended by our members, giving all an opportunity to sample the fare of area restaurants, to socialize with friends, and to meet new people. If you join us, you will also receive an update on upcoming club events and activities.
