The Westfield Center has been caring for our community members for over 25 years. Previously known as the Meridian Nursing Center, Genesis Health Ventures aquired the Meridian chain of facilities 3 years ago. The Westfield Center has 233 beds and provides traditonal long term care as well as many additional state-of-the-art medical services including:
Functional Evaluation and Treatment
Unit:
a 60 bed, short term unit, separate
from the long term care, providing in depth assessment and management of
the physical, psychological and social components of chronic illness. The
process begins with an interdisciplinary team evaluation in which the client
and their family take part to encourage a full life.

Full Service Rehabilitation:
Physical, ococupational and speech
therapies are provided 6 days a week, lead by an interdisciplinary team
supervised by Jose Alonzo, MD, a Board Certified Psychiatrist and specialist
in rehabilitation medicine.

Subacute Medical Services:
including IV medications, hospice care,
dialysis, aggressive wound care and post surgical care often coordinated
with an aggressive rehabilitation program.
Focus: Genesis ElderCare's approach to caring for residents with Alzheimer's Dissease and related dementias. Certified by State of New Jersey, the Focus Unit has 22 beds located in a secure environment.

Princetonian: an upscale unit providing 24 hour nursing care in a residential-like environment. This 9 bed unit is located directly accross from the dining room and enjoys special programs, private dining area and enclosed court yard with a beautiful water garden.
