Paraprofessionals and Substitute Paraprofessionals

Qualifications: High School Diploma -- Prefer College Degree

Requirements Upon Hire: Criminal History Review and a Physical Examination/Mantoux Test

Paraprofessional salaries start at  $13,096 for the 2004-2005 school year.  Fringe benefits include a health insurance plan, tuition reimbursement and funds for out-of-district conferences and seminars.

A substitute paraprofessional earns $55.00 per day.

Qualifications: Knowledge of Computer/Software Programs

Requirements Upon Hire: Criminal History Review and a Physical Examination/Mantoux Test

Starting salaries range from $21,947 to $33,361 depending on the level of experience and the work year. Fringe benefits include a health insurance plan, tuition reimbursement, funds for out-of-district conferences and seminars, sick leave/personal days and paid vacation.

A substitute secretary earns $70.00 per day.

Qualifications: Boilers License Preferred -- No qualifications for substitute

Custodial salaries start at $34,574 for the 2003-2004 school year depending on the level of the position. Fringe benefits include a health insurance plan, tuition reimbursement, funds for out-of-district conferences and seminars, sick leave/personal days and paid vacation.

A substitute custodian earns $12.00 per hour.

Elementary Lunch Aides (permanent/substitute) are paid at a rate of $13.50 per hour -- 1 hour per day in the 2004-2005 school year.
